"In therapy, I see myself in the mirror differently."

It is our belief that once the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are understood, one is then able to implement skills to cope with stressors in a more positive manner. It takes courage to take the first steps towards change and we are so glad you did!

MESSAGE FROM SHANNON: In our first session together, we'll start with introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. If we both agree that we are a fit to work together, we will create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. While everyone is unique. I've found that clients typically start making measurable progress after our first four sessions together. My goal is to ensure that every client has the tools they need to be their best, and to reach a point where they no longer need me. I strive to create a comfortable environment where you feel safe to be your true self. I'm here as trusted partner that you can confide in, but also as someone who will challenge you and help you grow. Homework in between sessions is a requirement. This includes worksheets, assessments journaling, etc... If you can not commit to completing homework assignments, I would not be the right therapist for you and wish you well on your therapeutic journey. It is my belief that once an individual understands the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, they will then be able to modify or change their pattern(s) of thinking to cope with stressors in a positive manner. I look forward to meeting you!
